Self-Defense is a metaphor for the struggle with the outside world and with oneself. This is the band’s most emotional and overwhelming album, full of reflection and loneliness, set in the modern world and the near future. The release’s sound is made according to a clear formula: post-rock guitars, analog synthesizers, industrial, fuzz, and noise.

This is a research album about what happens inside the mind of a person living in a big city in the era of ubiquitous digitalization. It leads to an increasing separation of people in an already atomized society. God has left the person in the industrial era (Nietzsche), and other people left them in the digital era. The person is by themselves, surrounded by digital avatars.
